Tell me why six million Jews were killed?
gypsies and disabled too?
The Holocaust, the Genocide the devil's arithmetic
it was called.
Blond hair, brown hair, black, white,
What does it matter aren't we all the children of God?
Tell me why innocent children were slaughtered?
Some left alone without a family too?

What did Jews do? Nothing, that's what they did,
Killing a person because of how they look or
what they believe in is not right,
Isn't it for God alone to decide when a person
should die?
Tell me why people died of mistreatment?
burned and gassed too?

Chosen, processed, tell me is that the way to live your life?
Wondering if you will be next?
next to live, next to die, only God knows,
Only God knows when, where, and how.
We have to thank God for what we have,
and be thankful that we are living now,
and living well.

The Holocaust

Into the camps the Jewish people are tossed,
This is the beginning of the Holocaust.
They capture you like some kind of criminal,
Take you to a camp where food is minimal.
Men to one side women to the other,
Poor little boys will never see their mother.
They shave their heads and give them rags to wear,
There's no escape anywhere.
Children run for their lives,
Into the dump they shall hide.
Once you're in you'll want to escape,
But there's no way you'll get past that gate.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide,
You'll get caught dead or alive.
